Pool Table Moving
Moving house or buying a used pool table? We can take it apart, move it, and set it up at the other end. The job isn't finished when the parts arrive: the table needs to be reassembled and levelled for play.
A full move, or just the part you need
A full move covers dismantling at the pickup address, transport, then reassembly and levelling at the destination. New cloth, cushion replacement and pocket repairs are separate work, even when we do them on the same job.
Already taken apart? Staying in the same room? Using another company for transport? Tell us. Those are different jobs, and the quote should reflect the work you actually need.
What we need to quote it
Send the table size, pickup and delivery addresses, and any stairs, elevators or tight turns at either end. A full-table photo and a photo of the base help us identify the construction. Mention a one-piece slate if you know it has one.
Not sure of the size? Measure the playing surface from the inside edge of one cushion to the opposite cushion, both length and width. Send those measurements rather than the outside dimensions of the cabinet.
Before moving day
Clear the route and the space where the table will go. Tell us about parking restrictions or building access arrangements before the day. Keep balls, cues and other loose accessories together, and flag anything else you expect us to move.

Pool Table Moving questions
How much does a pool-table move cost?
The price depends on the table, the work required, travel and access at both addresses. Stairs, difficult access and one-piece slate can change the job. Send the details above and we'll quote that move, rather than guess from the table size alone.
Can it be moved without taking it apart?
Sometimes, for a suitable move within the same room. We need to check the table, floor and route first. Moving between rooms, floors or addresses is a different question. Don't assume an assembled table can be carried through the house just because it only needs to move a short distance.
What if the table is already dismantled?
That is a transport-and-reassembly job, rather than a full dismantle-and-move. Send photos of the slate, frame, rails, pockets, hardware and cloth so we can see how it was left and whether anything appears to be missing.
Can you get it through stairs or an elevator?
We need to check the actual route. Send photos of the stairs, landings, tight turns and doorways, plus elevator dimensions where relevant. The table's construction matters too; an access route that works for one table may not work for another.
Should I replace the cloth while the table is apart?
A move is a practical time to do it, but new cloth isn't compulsory. Existing cloth may be reusable if it's in suitable condition and comes off cleanly. We'll keep the move and new-cloth costs separate so you can decide.
Can you dismantle it for storage or another mover?
Yes. We can quote dismantling on its own, or a move to the storage location you arrange. Tell us who is handling transport and where the parts will go. Later reassembly is separate unless it's included in the agreed job.
Do you move snooker tables too?
Yes. Send the size, photos and slate details, plus access at both addresses. Snooker tables need the same careful planning, and we'll check the particular table before confirming the move.
What if I notice damage after the move?
Contact us with photos and a description of what you've noticed, including when you first saw it. We'll review the job with the installation team and work out what happened before discussing the next step.
