Storm No.1 Black is for the player who wants to explore low-deflection carbon without leaving a familiar maple setup behind. Its carbon-fibre playing shaft is designed to reduce the sideways cue-ball movement that comes with sidespin, so there is less aim compensation to make on off-centre shots. The included maple shaft keeps a traditional wood-shaft option in the same set.
Two playing approaches, one familiar cue
Both shafts connect to the same butt. You can develop your carbon-shaft game while keeping maple in your case, without buying a second complete cue or changing the handle you know. They are alternative playing configurations, not a playing-and-break pair.
A grip with a little texture
The Black model uses an embossed leather grip, giving your hand a tactile surface rather than a bare finished butt. Its black finish keeps the look restrained, while the two-shaft set leaves room for your playing preferences to develop.
